About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of cormmath.com and the Corm Math web app, operated by Work by David LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Corm Math, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Corm Math is currently a beta recordkeeping and plant-discussion service. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Contact us at workbydavid1@gmail.com.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. Provide accurate account information and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Protect your email and sign-in credentials, and notify us if you believe someone accessed your account without permission. Google, email-link, and ChatGPT sign-in are subject to the relevant provider’s terms as well.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person or business, misrepresent your affiliation, share access in a way that compromises another person’s privacy, or bypass account or permission controls.
Records, calculations, and demo figures
Corm Math calculates from the information entered. Net and payback figures reflect recorded sales, purchase prices, and expenses; unrecorded labor, taxes, overhead, refunds, losses, or other costs can change the actual result. Check quantities, prices, dates, totals, and exports independently. Keep your own backups and any records required for your business.
Demo plants, transactions, and earnings are illustrative examples. They are not market valuations, promises of profit, or a guarantee that any plant will pay for itself. Editing demo records does not create real income.
The service provides general recordkeeping and discussion features, not professional tax, accounting, financial, investment, legal, or horticultural advice. You are responsible for your business decisions and for complying with laws that apply to your sales, taxes, licensing, plant handling, and shipping.
Community and plant information
Community content describes users’ experiences, opinions, questions, and experiments. We do not verify every statement or guarantee that a technique will work or be safe in your circumstances. Use appropriate precautions with tools, chemicals, and growing equipment. Images identified as AI-generated are illustrations, not proof of actual plants or results.
Be respectful, stay relevant to plants and recordkeeping, and share only content you have the right to use. No harassment, threats, hateful content, scams, spam, impersonation, unlawful activity, malicious links, or disclosure of another person’s private information without authorization. Do not invent reviews, sales, endorsements, or results. Disclose relevant commercial connections when recommending a product. Label AI-generated or materially altered content.
Use Report on a post or comment to bring a concern to moderators, or email us about content, copyright, or an appeal. Include the relevant link or identifying details and an explanation of the issue. Moderation is not continuous and responses may not be immediate. We may review, restrict, or remove content or access when reasonably necessary to address violations, safety, legal requirements, or service operation.
Your content and our service
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Work by David LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, with permission to use service providers, to store, reproduce, resize, transmit, and display your content only as reasonably needed to provide the features you choose, maintain backups, moderate content, support the service, and meet legal obligations. Private plant records are not published to Community unless you choose a sharing feature. Publishing a profile or Community contribution makes the selected information public.
This license does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use of your content. After removal, it continues only for retained copies and purposes described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law. Other visitors may retain copies they previously made.
Corm Math branding, software, and original service materials belong to their respective owners. You may use the service for its intended features. Do not copy or misuse branding in a way that implies endorsement, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious files, probe private records, bypass limits, or interfere with the service. Rights and activities that applicable law expressly permits remain unaffected.
Third parties and charges
We are not a party to plant transactions you record and do not process buyer payments, arrange shipping, validate listings, or guarantee another seller’s goods. Third-party websites, sign-in services, and email providers operate under their own terms. A link or discussion mention does not imply endorsement.
The current beta has no paid subscription or in-app checkout. If paid features are introduced, we will present pricing and applicable payment, cancellation, and refund terms before asking you to purchase. These terms do not authorize an undisclosed charge.
Availability and disclaimers
To the extent allowed by law, Corm Math is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free calculations, complete preservation of data, successful propagation, market prices, or earnings. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, where the law permits.
Keep independent backups. Browser-only records can be lost when storage is cleared or unavailable. Account access depends on your sign-in provider and device. We may change or discontinue features, and may suspend access for violations or operational, security, or legal reasons. You can stop using the service at any time and request account/data removal through the contact below.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Work by David LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including lost profits, plant losses, lost business opportunities, or loss of data, arising from the service or reliance on Community content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for claims arising from or relating to the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory of a claim, but do not exclude or limit liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so those provisions apply only to the extent permitted.
Governing law and changes
Arizona law governs these terms, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory laws provide you additional protections. Nothing here removes a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will identify the effective date and provide additional notice where required for material changes. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent allowed by law.
